In Podcast Episode 342, “There Was No One to Save Them…But God,” Kim discusses the times in life where we believe there is no one to help us…no one on our side. Those are the times we need to be reminded that God is there for us even when no human being is. How many life moments have you had totally changed with the phrase, “but God”?

Our focal passage for this episode is 2 Kings 14:23-29, with 26-27 as the focal verse:

26 For the Lord saw the bitter suffering of everyone in Israel, and that there was no one in Israel, slave or free, to help them. 27 And because the Lord had not said he would blot out the name of Israel completely, he used Jeroboam II, the son of Jehoash, to save them.
