Ep. 6: Joey Marsilio on Creativity, Becoming a Writer, and Past Experiences in Comedy & Show Biz
Description
Joey Marsilio works for his local county in the Public Defender field, with a concentration on digital media and technology within the criminal justice system. Joey is a past comedian and also a writer, whom completed his first recent fictional novel called: "Henry Garrison: St. Dante's Savior".
Joey starts off the show talking about his creative journey into writing and being a comedian. As his life evolved, he emphasized the importance of being a part of a community and how a sense of responsibility can drive a person each day.
We also dive into Joey's past experience moving to LA in the mid 2000s, his take pursuing a show business career, and what he loved (and didn't like) about stand up comedy.
Joey talks about his new book, "Henry Garrison: St. Dante's Savior'', and I ask him about how aspiring writers can publish their own material.
Joey also has an extensive Halloween and Magic Card collection, and how he knew he had the talent to do voice over work.
And much more..
