L'ultimo episodio del 2023 di Joypad è quasi interamente dedicato ai The Game Awards, evento che celebra l'industria dei videogiochi organizzato ogni anno da Geoff Keighley. A trionfare è stato Baldur's Gate 3, ma anche Alan Wake 2 ha fatto molto bene. Sono stati poi presentati diversi nuovi giochi, che come ogni anno vengono raccontati in Joypad tramite gli appunti di Matteo Bordone. Si è parlato poi di GTA VI, del gioco di Avatar, dell'incredibile storia di The Day Before e dei finalisti di Red Bull Indie Forge 2023.
