The first Credit for this episode goes to the Naga entrepreneur Mr. Lichan Humtsoe of Été Coffee, we spoke over the phone and he did mention that he would love to have certain content in the podcast related to the horticulture side of Coffee Plantation and things on those end. I am so thankful that he made that request, I just wanted to get his questions answered by the expert/veteran Planter, while I was still living at a plantation.
So while I was working at Kerehaklu and working with Post Processing of Coffee with Pranoy. I also had the pleasure to spend some amazing time with Ajoy (Pranoy's Dad). It was always so amazing to hear him speak about coffee plants, the horticulture side of coffee it was like transcending to a different time zone and it was beyond awesomeness.
we speak about Coffee Varietals in India, about their differences, the diseases that are prevalent here in India, the cure/remedies for them, the story behind varietal like 'OBATA' and lot more. This is part 1 of the 2 part interview with Ajoy, I am sure you will love it.
