Description

I couldn't recall what USUHS stood for during the podcast so here it is!
USUHS  Defined:  The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences offers a number of health sciences educational programs open to military and/or civilian students

I asked folks in our on-line community to shoot me some questions they'd like answered and they did!  So I'd like to tackle one of them now:

Question: What have you learned from all of us you've interviewed in these past 25 episodes? This is the qualitative researcher in me---what are the overall lessons learned/commonalities of experiences/differences in experiences?

What a terrific question!  Without a doubt I've learned so much from all of our guests!  However when I think of commonalities a few thoughts come to mind immediately:

Today, I focus on financing.  We'll get into the other two in another episode.

* Financing - How people fund this sort of advanced education

* You are Capable - Good enough to be accepted to a program you are good enough AND capable of seeing it through to completion.

* Gotta have the Passion - It is VERY important to enjoy what you elect to study.
