Ep.60 Using diagnostic skills, MSKUS and OMT to restore the rhythms of the body in athletes – Albert J. Kozar DO, FAOASM, R-MSK
Update: 2022-11-20
Description
A lover of sports, particularly Notre Dame football, jazz music, and fishing. He is the first doctor of his family, finding a home in osteopathic medical school. During his medical school years he became a predoctoral OMM fellow, spending that year learning the principles of OMM and honing his skills. Wanting to make sports an important part of his practice, he set foot down the path toward a career in sports medicine. Now working with athletes of all levels he uses his OMM skills to restore the amplitude of the paired rhythms of the body, improving both gait and breath efficiency. He has spent over a decade mastering MSKUS and speaks about the ultrasound as an extension of the physical exam. He agrees, AT Still if alive today, would be a master of MSKUS. Enjoy my conversation with a champion of osteopathic medicine Dr. Albert Kozar, D.O.
