In this lecture style episode we will talk about how the Zink Model as a postural model rooted in tensegrity. How fascia plays a key role in tensegrity. We will learn about how fascia is contractile, aids in tissue gliding, is innervated and may be a pain generator if mechanically strained. There will be a discussion about the girdling effect of the thoracolumbar fascia and how it forms an axial ring between thorax and pelvis. Finally we will end with learning how to diagnose and treat Pelvic Cross Syndrome along with strengthening deep core stabilizers.
