Meet Scott Snowden, aka "Scotty MAC", as he discusses how important the Black Lives Matter movement is to him, what it means, and how he is feeling in today’s political climate. As an educator, Scott sees daily how the education system fails young students of color and works hard to see the next generation succeed. Hear him discuss ideas for change to better equip our future leaders with the tools for success. Scott is no stranger to being racially profiled. Starting from when he was a child he had frightening encounters with police doing everyday activities such as browsing through a store, sitting in his dorm room, or walking to the train. He can’t change who he is, which is why it is important to change the system.
