Mark Koyama is an economics professor at George Mason University. He investigates religious and ethnic persecution, as well as comparative state development in Europe and Asia.   


In this interview, we discuss the history of anti-Semitism in Europe, and how it can be viewed through the lens of state capacity and economics.
