Description

Welcome to another episode of the OCR Underground Show.  This podcast is designed to help you train for your next OCR or hybrid race without destroying your body in the process.  After taking the summer off, I am back with some more great tips for you.

I finally got back into racing and did the Spartan Sprint in Temecula (Pala) last month.  Now I am getting ready for the DEKA Strong and Mile coming this weekend at my studio.

In this episode I share one of the most underutilized ergogenic aids for endurance performance.  This is heat acclimation training.  I will talk about what it is, how it can help you, and some research on this powerful tool.

Since this was my first race I have done in a while, I thought it would be a good topic to discuss how to pick up your training again after time off.  You might have had an injury or just backed away from training for a while.  If you want to find the most efficient way to get back into OCR shape check out this episode.
