Episode 137 : Ten Hard Lessons I Learned in Los Angeles: Growth, Change, and Real Life Spirituality
Description
It’s been ten years since I moved to Los Angeles — a whole decade that’s shaped me just as much as London ever did. In this reflection episode, I share the ten hardest lessons I’ve learned in my time here: from learning to let people be wrong about you, to realizing that lying to yourself is the worst betrayal. This one’s equal parts honest, tender, and hopeful — a look at what it really means to grow up and grow through.
Here are my ten lessons
- The world is going to change. A lot. And thats ok.
- You are going to change. A lot. And thats a blessing.
- Lying to yourself is the worst betrayal you will survive.
- Failure is a huge energy and it is therefore a portal to your highest timelines.
- A city can break your heart.
- A city can give you more than dreamed of if you let go of control.
- Two things can be true, but your truth is the key to everything.
- You are worth more than you have accepted in the past.
- Letting people be wrong about you, is one of the best pieces of advice to live by.
- Driving in LA will terrify and liberate you al in the same breath.
