Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 76:13
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. -Isaiah 40:31
DEVOTION

Waiting isn't passive but active dependence. 'Wait upon' means to serve, like a waiter attentive to every need. The promise is renewable strength—not a one-time boost but continual renewal. Eagles don't flap frantically; they catch thermal currents and soar. So believers catch the Spirit's wind. The progression is telling: soar extraordinarily, run consistently, walk faithfully. God provides strength for spectacular moments and mundane miles.

ADORATION: Strength-renewing God, You lift the weary and empower the weak. You turn waiters into soaring eagles. I worship You, divine Energizer.
CONFESSION: I confess impatience and trying to manufacture my own strength.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for strength that renews with waiting.
SUPPLICATION: Teach me to wait on You today, catching Your wind for soaring.

I pray that You will cover me with Your shield of protection as I sleep, keeping me safe from all harm and danger. Lord, I pray that I will always have a healthy fear of You. May I never forget that You are the holy and righteous God who created the heavens and the earth. May I always remember that You alone are worthy of my worship and devotion.
