Description
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 78:23
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. -Psalms 147:3
DEVOTION
Based on Psalm 147
The Great Physician specializes in cardiac care—not physical hearts but shattered souls. 'Broken in heart' describes grief's devastation, betrayal's pierce, loss's ache. God doesn't just observe brokenness; He heals. 'Bindeth up' is tender, personal attention—the careful wrapping of deep wounds. The same hands that flung stars into space gently tend to broken hearts. No wound is too deep, no heart too shattered for His healing touch.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Gentle Healer, You see every broken piece and wounded place. Your hands bring healing no medicine can match. I worship You, Mender of hearts.
CONFESSION: I confess hiding my brokenness instead of bringing it to You.
THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your tender care for broken hearts.
SUPPLICATION: Bind up the wounds I carry and those around me today.
PRAYER
He commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven.
PSALM 78:23
Mighty God, You have always been and always will be faithful to Your people. To those whom You have chosen, grace and mercy will follow them. Providential provision and powerful protection will always be given to those You have called Your own. I want to rest in that certainty tonight, Lord. I want to relax knowing that You will never leave or forsake me. Just as You were faithful to the wandering nation of Israel in the wilderness, You will be loyal to me. Just as You provided for the disobedient children of Jacob, You will be kind to me even when I sin against You. As I seek to sleep, give me the certainty that Your grace never runs dry, nor do You withhold peace from those who honestly seek Your presence. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen. 🙏🏾
