Globally we are facing a trying times within our healthcare infrastructure. Many developed countries around the world are dealing with the presence of the Coronavirus. To give a brief overview, the Coronavirus is a communicable respiratory disease that has impacted citizens from the United States, Europe, Australia and Asia just to name a few. The disease is easily spread with air travel and as a result there are several country bans that prevents business and personal tourism. Up to date, we will still do not have a clear answer on how to manage and eradicate the disease however, before the presence of the Coronavirus, many countries around the world has dealt with alarming cases of people living with Sickle Cell Anemia especially in African countries.
