- Growth happens even in the rocky places: learning to improvise and be creative when times are rough.
- You can never have too much toilet paper!
- Not to take things for granted, big or small: there is great beauty in living life with eyes wide open and taking moments to pause and be grateful.
- It's okay to not be okay: taking time for yourself to recoup and reset can be one of the most valuable ways to spend your time.

- Hard work for the right cause and with the right focus is worth it every time!
- Savings is essential: it is important to prioritize savings when times are good so you can weather times of scarcity.
- Knowing yourself is powerful and allows you to communicate with grace and understanding: hone in on who you are outside of the hats you wear.
- Too much of a good thing is still too much!
- Rest is necessary and not all rest is created equal: learning to rest is hard work and takes intention and diligence.
- Being a musician translates to adapting to circumstances: relying on your instincts in the therapy session, as a team and in life!
