Elizabeth was the first recorded to call Mary, “blessed is she.” Don’t we all want to be recognized as that, blessed? What was it that Mary did to receive such a blessing to house the Prince of Peace? She was made with that purpose, but it was her choices that led her to be “blessed is she.” We can be this type of person, too. Her interactions with the angel Gabriel tell us how.
