Britt Reid is a former NFL coach and the son of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. From 2013 to 2020, Britt served in various defensive coaching roles with the Chiefs, contributing to the team’s Super Bowl LIV victory. His coaching journey began under his father with the Philadelphia Eagles and extended through a rise in the professional coaching ranks. However, in 2021, Britt was involved in a drunk driving crash that severely injured a 5-year-old girl, leading to his termination from the Chiefs and a 3-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to felony DWI. His sentence was commuted in 2024 by Missouri Governor Mike Parson, and he now serves the remainder under house arrest. Today, Reid is focusing on sobriety, personal growth, fatherhood, and navigating life after tragedy and public failure.
