First, Tony and Evan talk about the bombshell story out of the DC District Court that ruled that AI-generated works are incapable of receiving copyright protection (04:49 ). Tony and Evan talk about the legal significance of this ruling, especially with what it means for the future of the SAG and WGA strikes. Second, Tony and Evan discuss a lawsuit between the NY Knicks and Toronto Raptors basketball teams (16:46 ) in which the Knicks alleged that a former Knicks employee collected proprietary information like scouting reports, video tape footage, player tendency reports, and much more and shared it with the Toronto Raptors. Tony and Evan discuss trade secret misappropriation and how this offense could actually lead to sanctions against the Toronto Raptors. Finally, Tony and Evan take a trip down memory lane and share their favorite law school class (31:39 ).
