In 2020, newcomer political party, African Transformation Movement (ATM) raised a motion of no confidence in President Cyril Ramaphosa that didn't take place due to resulting court action after the speaker of parliament rejected a request for a secret ballot vote by the ATM. 

The Supreme Court of Appeal found in favour of the ATM and ordered the speaker to freshly consider a request for a secret ballot vote. 

Will a vote of no confidence in Ramaphosa succeed? Should it succeed? Will this solve the governance crisis?
