Episode 31: Shy People Problems: the Heart Sinking Feeling of Being Left Out
Description
In a previous episode, we discussed our experience growing up as quiet and shy kids. Being shy and quiet comes with its fair share of struggles and in today’s episode, we figured we’d talk about one specific aspect, which is the feeling of being left out.
We share our personal experience with this terrible feeling, and talk about all the situations in which we’ve felt this way. Along the way, some people have helped us in such situations but others have just made things worse and we tell you all about these specific behaviours. But as always, we self-reflect a bit and figure out a way to cope with this feeling a bit better going forward. More details are included in the breakdown at the end of this description. If this topic speaks to you or you simply want to hear us converse about this struggle, then go ahead and listen to the episode!
