Long before our country music format, we had two previous formats that we have mentioned in the past. However we did play country music as an introduction to our listeners. There's no shortage of country music on this podcast as you will hear.
Show open with theme song. Then he explains that on a previous broadcast, he mistakenly called Bette Midler the Andrews Sisters when he played "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". He now plays The Andrews Sisters version.

The phone is ringing, but Dave can't answer because he is talking.
Dave asks who sings this song? He will tell you who after the song.
Dave states he is in a country state of mind today and promptly plays "Po' Folks" a song written and recorded by American country singer-songwriter Bill Anderson.
Dave runs the chat room, then plays Arthur Godfrey - My Little Grass Shack.
During the song Dave checks the voice mail he received earlier. It was Dave's wife checking to see if Dave noticed the chicken sandwiches in the refrigerator? He plays the voice mail on the air.
