Introvert Wine Podcast, Episode 4 with Marc Almert: A Perfect Sommelier

What is a perfect sommelier? In many cases we think about technical knowledge like appellations, vintages, producers, labels...
But the more sommeliers I meet and more wine events I help organising, I tend to think that the personal qualities and soft skills sometimes make a bigger difference.
So much focus in sommelier profession is put on achievements, but few speak about preparation of the mental and physical aspects of your body and mind for the exams, certifications and contests...
A person who can tell you best about preparing for competitions and winning them, is a person who succeeded in doing so, and I'm very grateful to be able to talk about sommelier mind with  Marc Almert, ASI Best Sommelier of the World 2019. 
Bonus! Marc educates me on Swiss wine, having lived and worked in Zurich for the past 7 years, he breaks my (and probably your) stereotypes about Swiss wine: that it is all expensive, not great quality, inaccessible and not trendy!
