As part of our 4 Pillars of Health podcast series, this week we are focussing on the 4th pillar of health entitled Flourish, which represents our relationships and social connection with others, and the importance of these for our own overall health and wellbeing.

Stats show that people with healthy, positive and supportive relationships are more likely to be happier and healthier. Yet, our relationships are not necessarily linear - they change, go up and down and sometimes even end completely.

So, what can we do to maintain healthy relationships in order to protect our own wellbeing? How do we navigate toxic relationships?  And, with loneliness at record levels, what can we do to feel more connected to others in an increasingly isolated world?

For this episode. I am delighted to be sharing the mic with Caroline Chambers, Seed’s Relationships & Family Counsellor, to discuss this pillar and the points I have mentioned in more detail. Caroline gained her training at the Institute of Family Therapy before working with Relate and now runs her own successful private practice in Buckinghamshire, UK.
