The holiday season approaches and it might be a good time to be charitable and give when you can make a difference.
In this episode I speak with Naomi Midanik about the Gifts of Hope (plangifts.ca) program and how these gifts have the power to change real lives by tackling urgent issues like access to COVID-19 vaccines and food insecurity.
There are two featured gifts for 2021:
- The COVID-19 vaccine roll-out gift helps get COVID-19 vaccinations to communities where Plan International Canada works.
- Food baskets include nutritious staples like beans, cooking oil, fortified cereal blends and sugar and help provide food for thousands of pregnant women, mothers and children under five.
