In Channel
The predator in the second story almost sounds like William Bonin (serial killer).
The second story was horrifying and tragic to think that 16 year old, who had such a tough life to begin with, was nearly killed, by what sounds to me like a sex predator. And that creep got away with a crime, and he most likely continued doing the same thing to others! At the same time, It was an incredible story of survival and to hear that the guy, who helped him, married his sister. It’s nice to know she married a good man. A truly amazing story .
I think the guy who reserved campsite D, was more creepy than the story itself. If “campsite D guy” believes there’s demons on the island, he must enjoy camping out in the woods, not in a designated campsite, with them regularly. He sounds especially creepy and disturbed.

the differences between how this guy got helped vs how the lady got helped in the last story is astonishing (and sad)
My hometown is just across the channel from Rock Island! I'm listening to this looking out at the island now. I can tell you there are most definitely some strange things to be seen and heard in the night in these woods.
