Matthew's story is unique, having found himself behind the desk of a deeply unsatisfying job, he left behind a career path headed nowhere to pursue his passion. As a lifelong outdoorsman and angler, Podobinski began guiding as a white water raft instructor - where the skills he gained traversing difficult rivers, certifications in first aid, and experience as an angler made him an ideal candidate for guide lodges.
Matthew has since guided in Alaska, India, Central and South America, Asia and too many places to name! He is an outstanding angler, guide, and story teller!
