In the seventh episode of the ParAqua Podcast Joe speaks to Ester Eckert who is a researcher at the Molecular Ecology Group in the Water Research Institute based in Verbania, in Northern Italy. Together they discuss her research into the persistence of Anti-Microbial Resistance genes in aquatic ecosystems and the knock-on effects this can have on public health.
