We live on a “Goldilocks planet”– not too hot, not too cold. Perfect for sustaining complex life. As a scienties that’s awesome. As a religious person, that’s “awe”-some. What a wonderful blessing God has given us by providing us this beautiful world to live in.

We believe in the Genesis account of God’s creation of the world. But additional modern scriptures clarify important aspects of the creation account, including the fact that it was accomplished in “creative periods” rather than strictly 24-hour days and the purpose of it all.

Our beliefs also open the room for science to tell you how God created the earth while religion tells you why. We do not worship the earth, but we do believe it is a sacred gift from God that should be preserved.
