As the founder and CEO of Cognitive Finance Group, Clara also advises financial institutions, fintechs, technology firms, and governments on the ethical use of AI to drive innovation and growth.
Clara is widely recognized as a thought leader in AI and has been featured in leading publications such as Financial Times and Forbes. She’s also a popular keynote speaker at high-profile events like SIBOS, Money 2020, Point Zero Forum, Innovate Finance Global Summit, AI World, SCxSC, Fin/Sum. She has been invited as a guest lecturer by leading universities like the University of Oxford, MIT and LBS. In 2019, she was invited to join the teaching team at the Oxford AI course.
As an author, Clara has written the book “Decoding AI in Financial Services: Business Implications for Boards and Professionals”, publishes the weekly newsletter “Decoding AI® Board Briefing” and hosts the “Decoding AI® Podcast.”
Her academic research interest sits at the intersection of neuroscience, AI and wealth management. Prior to 2014, Clara served in leadership roles in European asset & wealth management, is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK), has a Certificate in Investment Management (UK) and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
