Episode 90: Greg Kubacki (Car Bomb)
Description
Whether you want to call them experimental metal, or mathcore, or progressive metal, New York's Car Bomb don't sound quite like anyone else.
Greg Kubacki has been delivering brain-melting guitar parts for the band for almost the entirety of Car Bomb's 25 year (and counting) history.
With the band about to release their latest EP Tiles Whisper Dreams (Yes, I keep mispronouncing it all through the interview, apologies!!) Greg joins me to discuss their new music, reveal some of the mysteries of how they construct their often baffling arrangements, history of the band, their (in some cases surprising) influences and what Car Bomb has coming up (including tours and a new album in the works).
Closing track: "Paroxysm"
