Just recently once again Hua Hin was named in one of the top 10 locations to retire by US news and world report. and so should come to no surprise to hear when ex-sports stars decide to move there. In this case, it is Ex-Tottenham Hotspurs and England footballer Gary Stevens.
Each week Thaivisa and Dan about Thailand, through host Jonathan Fairfield, interview Gary on a range of subjects, primarily football based. This week Gary was back in the UK to meet family and friends and also watch the European Cup final from the Tottenham Hotspurs stadium.
Some of the questions we posed this week were why he decided to move to Hua Hin and also, noting that he was back in the UK, was there any creature comforts he has been enjoying back there and what will he bring back to Thailand with him?
