Ok, now come back to hear from Harold “Junior” Morris 3rd’s father on what life has been like advocating for his son’s release the last 5 years - including rewriting legislation in Maryland to help reduce his son’s sentence.
A father of 4, Junior was an active and very involved father who even coached his children’s little league but Maryland didn’t decriminalize 🌱 until 2021 so in 2017 when his storage unit was found with 50lbs he was sentenced as a kingpin and made to serve a mandatory mini of 20 years. Junior has already served 5 years, his co-defendant served 3 yet he has 15 years to go unless we change the law. I need you babes to give this a listen, learn what you have the power to do and then share this with @govwesmoore so he can correct this horrible injustice.
