In this episode I discuss the disparity in the rate at which Black women are being incarcerated and the way they are being treated by the system as a whole. This is something that is being done starting in the juvenile system and it must be addressed. I also talk about the problem with the cash bail system and how it needs to be reformed. All of this is reasons why groups like the National Bail Out organization is needed. They have an initiative called #FREEBLACKMAMAS that is working to free 100 Black Mamas by Mother's Day as well as beyond. This is something we all need to get behind and support...
