Lv: Rīgas bērnu nama ziema bija īpaša.
En: Winter at the Rīgas children's home was special.

Lv: Sniegs krāja ceļus, bet iekšā bija silti un mājīgi.
En: Snow covered the roads, but inside it was warm and cozy.

Lv: Krāsainas lampiņas mirdzēja, it kā būtu zvaigznes, kas izgaismo lielo egli kopīgajā istabā.
En: Colorful lights glimmered, as if they were stars illuminating the large Christmas tree in the common room.
