In this MEGAphone episode we will be shouting out an amazing health professional. He is a British physician, author, tv presenter and how I discovered him, he is a fantastic podcaster. He is best known for his TV show Doctor in the House as well as a regular commentator on BBC radio. His podcast “Feel Better, Live More,” is entertaining, informative and really well done. He wrote an amazing book called Feel Better in 5, and I’m currently listening to his most recent book Happy Mind, Happy Life on audible.

He wrote a short article I wanted to shout out and share called “Five ways to make changes that stick” because I believe that if you can really understand and implement these 5 things into some areas you may have been struggling to find consistency in… I feel like they can be life changing. The magic is in it’s simplicity… it has to be! If it was complicated it would never work on a large scale. But I’ve seen these steps work… with clients, family and friends… and in my own life.
1. Start easy.
2. Connect the change to an already existing habit.
3. Respect your natural rhythms, your body and mind will tell you if you listen.
4. Shape and design your environment to match the person you want to be.
5. Celebrate your wins.
