Flood warning in Kittitas County, Washington until Friday, December twelfth, at four PM. Yakima River expected to rise, causing road flooding. Residents urged to avoid driving through floodwaters. Six hundred new sandbags available at Fire District Seven Station Seventy-three. Swiftwater Rescue deputies safely evacuate elderly woman and her caregiver from flood-surrounded home. Several roads closed, including State Route Ten and State Route Nine Zero Six. Sand and sandbags available at Thorp Fire Station Eleven and Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue Station Forty-six. Evacuation help available by calling Kittcom or dialing nine one one in emergency.
