In this episode, Erica Orosco Cruz joins me to discuss RIE and how to facilitate mutual respectful relationships with our children at any age (and why it matters). She also shares her advice for what to consider and what questions to ask when choosing a childcare or school program for young children.
Erica Orosco Cruz is an early childhood development expert and parent coach who helps children, families, and teachers thrive and grow together on the foundation of mutual respect. She is certified through RIE (Resources for Infant Educators) and the state of California and is also trained in the Waldorf methods. Erica’s passion for supporting families stems from her own experience as a mother of 4 boys (ranging in ages from 2 to 25!), and as a daughter who set out to parent in a different way than she was as a child.
