📖Story Context

A man who lived in Canada once bought a small iland. The island was in the middle of the great Saint Lawrence River. The he bought 6 beautiful foxes and took them to the island. He said to himself, "These foxes will have many young ones. I'll kill some of them and sell their skins. I may become quite rich."

A love lost or one never seen

📖Story Context

After a few months he returned to the island. But he couldn't find even one fox. He told a friend about this. The friend said, "You forgot one thing. you forgot that foxes can swim very well. Your foxes have swum a way from your island. You'll never see them again.
