Description

💚❤️🖤🤍 In today's episode, I’m honored to have Yasmine Al Massri with me, an actress whose work embodies the rich, nuanced storytelling that Palestinian and Arab cinema is celebrated for. Yasmine is a Lebanese-born actress of Palestinian descent. Her journey into acting began in Paris, where she honed her craft in some of the most prestigious acting schools before making her screen debut in the critically acclaimed film "Caramel" directed by Nadine Labaki. Her performances have been praised for their authenticity and emotional depth, whether in international film festivals or mainstream Hollywood productions. Beyond her acting talent, Yasmine is an advocate for more nuanced and diverse representations of Arab and Muslim identities in cinema, using her platform to speak out against stereotyping and for greater inclusion in the film industry.
