Ro: Într-o toamnă mohorâtă, într-o peșteră umedă și misterioasă, Mihai, un biolog român, pregătea un seminar despre lilieci.
En: On a dreary autumn day, in a damp and mysterious cave, Mihai, a Romanian biologist, was preparing a seminar about bats.

Ro: Peștera era slab luminată, iar echipamentul de cercetare strălucea palid în întuneric.
En: The cave was dimly lit, and the research equipment glowed faintly in the darkness.

Ro: Păsările nopții cântau din adâncimi, dând un farmec aparte locului.
