In this first part of Socialist Roulette, O and Zee describe how foundations set up by oligarchs like the Rockefellers, Ford and others have been a driving force in shaping society, with the 1920s beginning an era of funding leaders abroad, aiding the quest to engineer societies. Henry Ford felt that humanity would benefit from being organized around manufacturing. But is it promoting humanity and truly a benefit if you rob someone of their ability to reason, to form their own questions, even if their ideas are wrong? Today, with all our technology and supposed access to information, we see we are not provided information to a degree where we can understand what our history even is. Instead we are lured to remain online while being fed only what our “benefactors” want us to see. We also see more studies reveal the harmful effects of algorithmic social media causing symptoms similar to Tourettes.
