Funding boost for 1800RESPECT as demand soars

Description
The federal government has announced it will increase funding for the national domestic, family and sexual violence support service — 1800RESPECT — by almost 40 per cent.
The service has reported a 3,000 per cent increase in demand for its services since its inception 15 years ago.
