Description
The Mental Health & Aging podcast series is offered as part of an educational initiative on Clinical Challenges in Primary Care supported by the New Jersey Geriatric Education Center (NJGEC). This episode focuses on the assessment of risks and the identification of common signs and symptoms of depression, as well as atypical presentation of the disease in older adults. The effective use of screening instruments in the primary care setting is also discussed.
