The Mental Health & Aging podcast series is offered as part of an educational initiative on Clinical Challenges in Primary Care supported by the New Jersey Geriatric Education Center (NJGEC). This episode focuses on the role of medication and ECT in the treatment of depression in older adults. The efficacy, risks and benefits of different therapeutic agents and the appropriate use of augmentation and combination therapy are discussed.
