Giant Inflatable Slide Coming to Canberra
Update: 2025-12-13
Description
Canberra businesswoman Ally Sweeney is bringing a massive inflatable slide to the city this summer, aiming to fill the void left by the closed Big Splash water park. The Kami Kazi slide, eighteen meters high and sixty-five meters long, can be used dry or with water, offering a giant slip and slide for all. After initial setbacks, Ally is now seeking approval from authorities to place the slide in a public location, hoping to launch it on Australia Day, January twenty-sixth. Her goal is to provide old-school, innocent fun for the community, especially the children, and extend that joy to all of Canberras kids this summer.
