Marné Chiccarelli, Black belt and co-owner of Carpio Jiu Jitsu in Long Beach, CA tells her story of how she started jiu jitsu, and her journey to opening a gym with her husband during the pandemic and her new project, BJJ Gal—a mentorship program aimed at assisting female BJJ athletes with sponsorships, seminars, and competition expenses. We all win when women support other women in the sport.
