Based on a passage written by David, who experienced great turmoil during his life. Some of David’s adversity was his own fault will others were not the fault of his own. Regardless, David painted his faith and conviction in God’s protection, provision, path, and purpose. God, in turn, never turned His back on David, always keeping His face to shine upon him. We should be encouraged to know that even though our earthly parents may be absent from our lives, for any number of reasons, we are never orphans as God has adopted us as one of His own children.
