It is Reformation Sunday. Today we celebrate the Reformation that began when Martin Luther nailed the 95 Theses on the Wittenberg Church doors. The Reformation helps us remember how we are made right with God. We clutter our lives with different ways we try to make ourselves right with him. But the way we are made right with him has nothing to do with anything we do for ourselves. It is all about what God has done for us. The Reformation reminds us that it is grace, faith, and Scripture alone that matter the most.
Today’s reading is John 8:31-36.
