For over half a century BBC Children in Need have been raising money for young people who are disadvantaged. They currently award two levels of grants at six points during the year:
1) The Main Grants Programme which gives over ÂŁ10,000 per year to support projects for up to three years.
2) The Small Grants Programme which supports projects for up to three years, and includes grants up to ÂŁ10,000 per year.
