Description

On today’s episode, Know Your Role(s) brings you One More Round with George and Dave as George cycles through his record collection alphabetically and Dave contemplates buying a kayak after the flooding of Hurricane Ida. On tap in this week’s Bar Talk are Fall TV premieres, the US Open, and Lil Nas X’s “Montero: The Debut” album release on September 17th. This week’s game starts with the most important meal of the day as the fellas and producer Mary Bess compare HBO series to cereals from “Veep’s” Honey Nut Cheerios to “True Blood’s” Lucky Charms! George looks ahead to the holiday weekend and college football while Dave gets excited for the release of Paul Schrader’s “The Card Counter,” starring the official boyfriend of “Know Your Role(s)” Oscar Isaac, on September 10th. In this week’s Booth, producer Mary Bess’ bad news takes us to Texas where reproductive rights are being challenged by a new piece of legislation, and we find some good news in Aurora, Colorado where three police officers and two paramedics will face criminal charges in the 2019 death of Elijah McClain.
